Mitochondrial Complex 1 Activity Measured by Spectrophotometry Is Reduced across All Brain Regions in Ageing and More Specifically in Neurodegeneration. It is a busy time and also fun! We have another paper out this month in PLOS ONE. Congratulations to Amelia and Emma who are co-authors on this one. You can 'read all about it' here .
Lisa Chakrabarti is Professor of Mitochondrial Biology at the University of Nottingham. Her interdisciplinary research examines how mitochondrial function shapes health, disease and adaptation, with particular interests in ageing, neurodegeneration, cellular metabolism and organisms living in extreme environments.
